She was born in Kosice, Slovakia, moved to the United States when she was six, and is fluent in Slovakian. Zuzana earned a degree in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee before moving to Seattle where she previously managed finances for an Italian perfume company and a commercial real estate firm.
